*This is orbitmoney.co, a personal finance web app. orbitmoney.com is an unrelated money-transfer business, and a Product Hunt listing with the same name describes an AI/API spend tracker, not this product as far as could be told.*

- Privacy policy is generic (names no legal entity, mentions advertising cookies); no MFA or independent audit is documented, and the security page its policy points to returns 404

## Our review

### Short version

Orbit Money (orbitmoney.co) is a web-based finance tracker built around multi-currency accounts, net worth, budgets versus actual spending, and a cash-flow forecast from recurring items. It offers bank sync, CSV import, goals, freelancer invoicing and (on higher tiers) investment tracking. It is a general money dashboard more than a strict envelope or zero-based budgeting tool.

**Research-based profile, not hands-on testing.** Refreshed on 2026-10-06 from the vendor's site, blog, privacy policy and Google Play listing. I did not sign up, start a trial or connect a bank.

### What is distinct

The angle is global money for people who earn or hold several currencies: accounts in any currency roll up to a home-currency net worth with daily exchange-rate updates, and the forecast and runway views come from recurring items. The founder's About letter describes freelancing across currencies as the origin. Budgeting itself is deliberately light (category limits against spending, plus a blog that suggests four broad buckets and a weekly review).

### Cost

- Starter: $5/month shown beside '$60 billed annually'. The page advertises 'get 2 months free' on annual, and the price when billed monthly is not visible in the page text.

- Pro: $10/month beside '$120 billed annually'; it is a waitlist only.

- Lifetime: $99 one time, 'limited spots', described as everything in Pro (Pro is not launched yet).

- 7-day trial on paid plans, no free tier. The home page says no card is required; the FAQ says to cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged. These two lines do not match.

### Bank sync, import and mobile

Automatic bank sync is in every paid tier. The vendor's blog says it uses Plaid with a read-only token; which banks and countries work is not documented beyond a row of logos. CSV and statement import are included. Mobile: the FAQ says it is a responsive web app with a native app on the roadmap, but a Google Play app by an individual developer exists (100+ downloads, updated 2026-09-11) and describes a simpler expense-entry app. No iOS app was found.

### Privacy

The vendor says data is encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit, is never sold, and can be exported or deleted. The privacy policy (January 2026) is generic, names no legal entity, and mentions advertising and analytics cookies. No MFA, audit or independent verification is documented, and the security page the policy refers to returns a 404.

### Who it suits / who will struggle

Suits freelancers and expats juggling currencies who want a net worth and runway view. People who want envelope-style planning, debt payoff, reconciliation or a mature mobile app will not find those documented here.

### Not confirmed

Founded year; iOS; monthly-billing price; bank coverage by country; shared budgets; independent reviews and the vendor's 4.9/5 and user counts; whether the trial needs a card. Features marked 'coming soon' on the pricing page (shared accounts, business profiles, subscription tracker, cashflow report) are roadmap, not shipped.

Ratings are set separately against a shared rubric (57 of 100 points on 2026-10-06; read-only bank access now documented).
