Overview

Fiduciary is an open-source command-line toolkit that pulls bank data with the Plaid CLI into a local SQLite database and lets an AI agent (Claude Code, Hermes or other skill-compatible runtimes) answer questions about it. Its skills cover spending audits, weekly reports, a priority framework for what to do with extra cash and a quarterly financial check-up. It analyzes finances rather than setting budgets.

Status: Fiduciary (github.com/weklund/fiduciary) is an MIT-licensed developer toolkit of AI-agent skills, a Plaid CLI and a SQLite ledger that answers questions about spending. It has no budget-creation, envelope or category-limit feature; repo is active (release v1.0.2 on 2026-07-02, last commit 2026-07-05). Borderline: it does do spending audits and weekly spending reports.
